1. I guess DOMA contradicts that. Someone should make a supreme court case out of how DOMA defies Constitutional rights.

4. The U.S. Constitution doesn't say anything at all about marriage, hetero or same-sex. The power to regulate marriage was specifically left up to the individual states. That's why I'm sure the Defense of Marriage Act, passed in 1996, will eventually be declared unconstitutional.
5. The Constitution? What's that? I thought the Bible ruled this country. I'm confused.
6. I guess what it means these days is that you're free to "pursue" happiness all you want. It just doesn't mean that you'll ever get it...
