I want to know the comparision of a gluten free diet to a normal diet regarding nutrition

- Gluten is a very common protein found in many cereals. The amino-acids in gluten can be easily found in animal products. In terms of nutrition, a gluten free diet is just as good as a normal diet. I guess you know someone with Coeliac disease. The problem with this disease is not to get nutrients, but to avoid gluten as it is a hidden ingredient in many commercial foods. The Vegetarian Society believes that a gluten-free diet is compatible even with vegetarianism. Some doctors and The Coeliac Society advise against a vegetarian or vegan diet for coeliacs because they believe it may make your diet too complicated. In summary, the problem of a gluten free diet is not the nutrition but the difficulty to comply with. I
